I got on my laptop today to post my News Years wishes. I started on blogger and visited my friends who have posted over the last 2 days I have been away.
All the posts are lovely and reminiscent of the past year.
Some somber, as last year was of changes that were good but brought on by sad events, some just a look at what the year held.
Visiting your blogs can make me think of so many things all at one time.
I laugh, I tear up, I smile, I am moved, I am excited, I learn
I watched a how today, Netflix is my new best friend no commercials!, and they debated the “real” friend and the virtual friend.
I have “real” friends in blogging. And believe me if I had unlimited funds I would have more than once jumped on a plane and been there to cook, clean or just listen.
I am here and I listen form here.
I have my own issues and drama and I understand having it even if I cannot truly identify with your issue.
BUT
I do care and I do think of you even when I am not online.
I find myself rushing to my phone or laptop because I have one of you on my mind that day. It is comforting to find you there, and there have been times when I just knew you were having a bad day.
So I hope when you see a small ((((HUGS)))) from me you know you are important to me and I do not want to but in but I care.
And I hope in a small way for a small moment you feel you are loved.

And I was noticing a book on a friends book shelf and thought I need that one BUT I am making myself read the one before it first!
Do you do that? Make a silly goal to be able to treat yourself?
Kate Morton is a wonderful writer, her books are in depth and cover many time periods. I love them and get involved but I have a hard time reading right through them. The Forgotten Garden took me months and I read others while I was going along. I am on The House at Riverton and it is as slow going, I am making my self read it so I can get her latest The Distant Hours. I can do it!
Have a super extra new year that I hope brings wonderful new beginnings to all of my lovely friends!

I cannot believe I have 300 posts!
I have been slowing down but still got here!
Before I get to my post I would like to once again gush about all you great ladies that share yourselves with me daily here in blogland.
Over my 300 posts the neighborhood has changed, people in, people out, our lives change, we move, we have new family members, we have lost family members. It has been happy, exciting, scary and sad at times but we are still here and all getting to be better friends because of these events we all have in our lives.
Thanks guys, this has been my best project I have ever endeavored to do.
Now a real post as I know you hate it when I gush too much;)
I have several projects/challenges for myself lately and one is reading these books
They are really fun. Written like a television episode where you start with the mystery and go on to find the clues with the great leading Character. I can identify with her somewhat and they are set in Scotland♥ so I am really enjoying them. I have to get through them as I want to read them before they are due back to the library!
I hope to have another Woo-Hoo Wednesday post when I get them finished!

Yes that is right 2 $7.50 pieces were on sale for $5.25 each and a $10 coupon!

I need a 4th color to finish my set and I was so glad when they released a red again!!
Next I am going to dedicate more time to reading. I am joining Un-plug for the summer. No worries, it is only one day of the week. I will use Tuesday my day off and Un-plug!

I am HOOKED!!! I am rushing through it like I love to do. A good book that really gets me is my favorite!!
Karen is a lovely person and is working on her 2nd book now! YEAH!! I will be done soon and will want another!
You can go to her blog, The English Writer, for ways to order her book. Only way I found to get it in the US, But it was very reasonable even with shipping from the UK!
It is a little risqué so if you don’t like that please skip, but it is a really great love story!

I know you know I love You’ve Got Mail.
I just in the past few months have had a rediscovery of the movie and have been really surprised at how much of it has made me do or change things.
Nothing life altering, really superficial, but you know how when you get in your head you need to do something or get something and then later realize why you had the idea. Well that is what this is like!
1. Introduced my to Pride and Prejudice. I was an old fan of Sense and Sensibility but my interest was peaked and even though it was years later I read and watched the BBC version and well I’m HOOKED!
2. Starbucks. I was not a coffee fan until I went to Starbucks!!
3. Started a Love/Hate relationship with big chain bookstores. Avoided FOR years Barnes and Noble, BUT I gave in and I am now a card carrying member of B&N!!
4. Teaching me to use reusable shopping bags! The Shop around the corner had their own great bags!!
5. Made me want to get a Laptop not a desk top computer. I didn’t have one for about 2 years after I saw this movie. But I have only ever had a Laptop!
6. To want to live in a small but perfect space!

Hello Pinkies and Welcome to my first Anniversary with Pink Saturday.
Big Thanks to Beverly @ How Sweet the Sound for starting this meme so we can all meet and enjoy Pink every week.
I have met so many lovely people in my first year blogging all thanks to Pink Saturday.
It started with one question. As I was looking on ebay for Easter goodies I came across some lovely felted creations by Laurie @ Charming Designs. I won one of her sweeties and in corresponding she asked me “Do you have a blog?” This got me thinking, usually a dangerous thing, and I had recently visited a friend’s blog and loved what she shared and how she shared it. Ginger @ bearbits is an amazing bear artist and has the super best imagination so I knew I would love her blog. I also can never have as cool a blog as Ginger but I can try!
Then I made a list of things to talk about found blogger used my new identity “pupylov “ I wrote a post from my list (only 2 on list have made it so far) and sent an email to all my list and waited. Laurie was so sweet and ran right over and started following and sent me emails on what else I should do. Pictures, and join a meme. She suggested Pink Saturday which I had seen when I visited Cathy’s site and so I got Beverly’s info, made a pink post and anxiously waited for the list to come up that morning to started visiting. I visited and had others visit me. This led me to my fairy blogmother Ann. She was so sweet and sent me emails offering help before I knew I needed it! Ann was just the first in many of the best friends I never met! Well actually I have some local and have met a few! Still more to add I am at 250+ blogs I follow and 152 followers. I maxed out and had to move some store blogs to Google reader to make room!
Thank you, all of you old and new. I am a better person for sharing the last year with you and it just gets better. I would LOVE to list you all but if you go to my sidebar they are there. Everyone of them are priceless.
I am so glad to join for another year and look forward to the new friends I will meet each week at Pink Saturday!
