I am not lost

Well sort of not lost ;)

I am lost in books♥

I have been feverishly reading. I get in obsessive periods and right now I am reading a book a day! Well until I hit this one

I was told it is amazing and I don’t mind it just not drawing me as much,

I read this one

Really loved it!

I am reading this series but the library has me on hold as I cannot get the next book! Not brain teasers and skim through a lot of stories I don’t really like but good.

I have read all that are published in this series

Not such great mysteries but I do like the characters

And I have these

I have two in the series and  This is the first and I got the 3rd or so on a bargain table. Just guess I need to start!

I have this too and a growing collection of books that center around food and cooking but none of these really seem to have me inspired.

Has anyone read this one?

I don’t have it but would like to know if it is a good read.

I am waiting on two of my favorite authors to publish again but it will be 2011 before their new ones are out :(

And I will whittle away at The Forgotten Garden!

If you liked any of these please let me know and if you have any suggestions I really like fiction with a sense of Fun. NOT a Nicholas Sparks fan (I know they are lobbying to through me out of NC for this) and I think I am not a fan of Male authors, more often than not they don’t have happy endings.

Yes I really don’t read the silly romance books but I have to have a Happy Ever After ;)

Anyway I will be decorating for fall this holiday weekend so I will have pics next week♥

My story is of my sweet little cousin Chase. At nine months old he was diagnosed with Stage 4 Neuroblastoma.

(The bruise on his head is from playing like a boy not his cancer ;)

How can you say to a baby’s family your child has the worst form of cancer in 7 different parts of his body? I know why I am not a doctor.

My cousin Christine has the best spirit and the whole family dug in and 11 months after diagnosis Chase was treatment free, he has stayed that way for 4 months now. Chase has continued to fight and is a happy child that climbs and runs and swims and enjoys all that life has to offer.

It is great to see God work so fast and how even those who should be too little to understand can know to live life to the fullest.

I have always had Hope even if all the loved ones didn’t make it all the way through the journey. They lived and had good lives and that is the Hope we are given daily.

I thank God every day for the day I had they are really all good no matter how I handled them, simply because I had the day.

Pink Suzanna’s

This week I will share some of my great pink finds I got from Suzanna’s Antiques! They have the best stuff to look through, I can spend tons of time out there!

I bought this a few weeks ago when I was out there ;)

A whole long piece of PINK pom poms! I love it. No idea what I will do with it but it is just fun!

While I was there I found this great bed spread.  I kept thinking about it and trying to not remember I wanted it, even decided it had to be gone because I really wanted it :(

So as I headed back last week I was hopeful my spread was still there♥♥

It was!!!!

Here is Molly testing it out, she was on it before I had it completely spread out, ugggh!

I don’t think I have discussed my bowl obsession yet, but I have a BAD one ;)

And this is PINK!! A good friend of mine is moving and didn’t need/want all her things so I nicely offered to take it off her hands, you have to do these things for your friends. They reminded her of her Ex sooooo

I have a PINK bowl, squeal!!!!

Pink Car

Ok so this is not my car, oh I so wish it was!

This is my car, I do love it though ;)

And I add pink to it!!

This little sweetie rides along with me!

 

This is my good luck charm, I got it in a McDonalds Happy Meal about 7 years ago and I got the job I went to interview for after! It has been in my car ever since!  Looks it too ;)

Our Local University has their logo in Pink too! I have this car coaster on my side!

Well used ;)

You know I LOVE totes I keep them organized in the car with my pink tote! Also my lunch bag is there right now too ;)

My niece has a Pink car seat that is in my mom’s car right now!

How do you plan?

I was visiting today and my sweet friend LeAnn @ The Old Parsonage has made herself a new calendar/planner  for next year, click her link to see it, super cute! It made me think about a post.

How do you plan, computer, palm pilot, iSomething?

I use my phone if I need an alarm to not forget something and I went for sometime when I was doing a lousy job of remembering anything! When I forgot to pay some bills that really stunk!!

So I have a planner, buy refill every year, I just wasn’t using it. So back in June when the school year planners were out at Barnes & Noble (yes them again) I got this!

Cute huh?

I keep it in this book cover, a Vera Bradley and it holds all my fun stuff to be at hand.  

I can find all my important papers just fine in here!

I even have the current week marked and the Saturday’s I work, also Molly’s meds they are every other day and I can so easily forget so now I can just check! Got to give that tonight ;)

I also have addresses and ALL my computer passwords in here, why we have sooooo many passwords I will never know. I guess it necessary but really annoying at times!

So how do you plan? Do you have a great electronic gadget, or are you a pen and paper girl?

I love all my junk, it makes me smile to look at and to play with when I move it around.

I have spent most of the last weekend school shopping with the little ones. I know I enjoyed it more than they did!!

Had a few of these to get me through

and I do so hope none of you HAD to buy one of these

Fun if you want one, stinks if you have to shell out the money ;)

I also HAD to get a few goodies for me sale flip flops and books ;)

Happy to report no tote bags this week, and I had to look at lots with getting book bags for the kids.  OH I did get a free pink back pack at Borders it is their current promotion with purchase, it has already gone to my niece I am happy to report ;)

I will have 1st day pics to post later in the week. Aunt Lisa is having a harder time with the youngest boy going tomorrow than his mom :(
