Where do you keep your Magazines?

While trying to clean up and out today I started puzzling on where to keep my magazines. I don’t keep any silly People or Entertainment Weeklys I may buy, but what about the GREAT ONES???

I also have a HUGE box stored at my aunt’s house (need to get that) and a whole huge shopping tote in storage. I do tear down ones that end up with not so interesting things in them. But my ME Home Companions are treasures, and Somerset are BOOKS! How can I do that to them?

I have such limited space and know I need to get rid of them but …

So what do you do with yours? Maybe you will have a great idea I can use too!

I love all my junk, it makes me smile to look at and to play with when I move it around.

I found the best books in the 75% off bin at Barnes & Noble♥

All these for less than $10!

I love the copy of Anne, it is really great!

and I got looks, for how loud I was when I found this beauty!!!

I got it for $5.52, I love also getting my 10% off everything I buy there♥

But I had to have this little beauty 

How cute is she? How can you not love a Hedgehog named Arugula??

She is having a tea party :)

She is very precise and has everything perfect for all her friends!

I was blog hopping and found this cool blog that is having a fun party!!

Workspace Wednesday!

I have been rearranging and making room for all my goodies and the laptop in my room. I was excited to have a fun way to show it to you!

Here is all my stuff, stuffed in the space I have,

Books, magazines, crafting, writing, bill paying, pencils, pens markers and really great finds I cannot hide.

I have planters, pink depression glass, baskets, boxes, shakers, milk glass, pretty up cycled cans, book ends from the dollar spot at Target, and I made my laptop fit!

The printer is under the enamel top table I am using for a desk. Great Suzanna’s find. it is on my vintage suitcases that hold many crafting items. I keep everything anymore that might make a fun project.

My chair is a curbside cutie. It holds my purse which always needs a spot.

Best part is this all sits in the middle of my great treasures. I have words and sayings that hang over me that inspire me.

Love, Believe, Delight, Create, Pray, Remember, Fabulous.

Good words to see everyday.

I have pretty candles and a lamp that keep me in the light and even though Pink is really here I have it all. This really is me. All of my things together in one spot.

I am happy here. I am glad I can spend time with you here!

I have been….

Ok I’ll be honest I haven’t been doing anything!

Well I sleep too! hehehe

Actually the bunnies are keeping me busy

They are multiplying! My mom has “bought” a few for me as I am not to “shop” during Lent. Hmmm I might do this every year! hehe

There are chicks too. Lots of them!

Well I am getting ready for this

I have to rest up. They made the release on a Friday night/Saturday morning NOT on a Tuesday. For most this may be ok but for me I work Saturday and I’m off on Tuesday so it really is not good for me. Saturday is til noon and I get to nap before I go back in to take care of the boarding animals.

So I am resting, thinking up my Pink Saturday Post and I’ll work on the Woo-Hoo Wednesday Post.

My first year is almost over. What a super wonderful year it has been! I am a very lucky person to be included  in the ever growing blogland! I feel blessed everyday by each and everyone of my sweet friends!

The 24th is my official one year!

Flea Market Pink Saturday

I went to the flea market at the NC State Fairgrounds last Sunday.

As I gave up shopping for Lent this was a BIG mistake. But I was drawn maybe it was the nice weather or I was just crazy but I had to go.

I really feel it was to find this

I have wanted one of these for the better part of a year, about the time I started doing Pink Saturdays.

Yes ladies I am blaming shopping on Pink Saturday. I got dishes because of a post 2 weeks ago! hehe

Isn’t it great. Ok here is the good part….

$10!!

Yes I was thrilled!! It works too! I was so shocked when she told me the price I think I threw the money at her, well after I picked it up so no one else would get it!  It could have been cheaper but I have only seen them on eBay and well shipping would be at least $10 as it is really heavy!

I am well on my way to my new pink room!

And my mom found this! Too cute right?! I was so excited when she let me have it! She found a red one and an umbrella too. What great things people used to have and threw away! They were silly party favors. Wonder what they would think of how we love these silly things!
