Artist of the Week 3

Hello again! Time for my artist of the week! I really appreciate all of you visiting and giving so much love to some of my favorite people!!
This week is a sweet Lady I think most of you are familiar with Elyse from Cottage

This a sweet button she has made for her blog! She is so talented! You may recognize this too

I featured this one in my Pink Saturday post 2 weeks ago and quite a few of you recognized it! I just love her blog and when she posted that she was putting these little cuties on her etsy tinkered treasures I ran right over!
I also went to visit when another sweet blogger featured her clothes pins! HAD TO HAVE!! And when I got there, well I just had to have a few things!!
Like this sweetie (sorry if you've seen it a lot lately! I love it!)

and this sweet cup (pink of course!) for pencils and clips, it comes with both, My set of clothes pins is in it also!

She made me some sweet personalized clothes pins also! (sorry it's not really easy to see one says Lisa , the other pupylov!)

She wraps the goodies up in such pretty little packages with a card, a clothes pin, and a book mark! I love the book marks I smile when I'm reading thinking of all the fun blogging times I have!

Artist of the Week 2

Hi again! My artist of the week is Cathy @ Cath's Pennies Designs!
Besides being another of my sweet blog buddies, Cathy is a really sweet friend, wife, mother, and grandmother. Drop by her blog you won't be sorry!!
She makes candle mats that are just amazing! She really started with them and then moved to pin keeps. Being a Pin cushion junkie ;) I HAD to have one of her lovely hearts!
















The problem was red or pink...hummm... as you can see I didn't choose between them! And more important I was hooked! Soon after I got these I started my blog, I let Cathy know and she sent me to her blog and that was really the end! She shows her work in all the stages and makes the most amazing things!!!

Happy Father's Day!

I did a poor job of it but here is a Picture of me with my dad, his dad, and his dad's dad! ( dad, grandad, great-grand dad)

I love that someone thought to take this of us!
My father was killed in a car wreck in Dec. 1977, My great-grand dad died in 1980 and I'm blessed to still have both of my grand fathers! (see second pic of Mom's dad) Both of which turned 82 this week!

Happy Birthday Aunt Lisa's sweet boy!

So today my sweet Nate will be 6!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I can hardly believe it. They grow too fast. Funny how they enjoy having birthdays come around so quickly!
We are going on a date to see Transformers for his birthday present. He wants his little brother to go but Memphis isn't ready to sit through a movie yet. I'm going to start a new tradition of time alone with Aunt Lisa for your birthday.

Suggestions Please

My Dear sister went to a yard sale and brought me this great magazine rack. I like it and the shabby look to it is great.

I don't really have any place to put it. My bedroom is the shabby place but no way will it fit. I could put it in the living room but the living room is very primitive.

So do I want to paint it? Do I keep it? It would be great to have a place for my magazines. Do I keep it and leave it shabby? The pictures of it were made in the bedroom. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
