Hey Lisa:
ReplyDeleteI am up taking some aspirin and treating my fire ant bites-they are ridiculously painful. I could not sleep and had to get up and do something.
What a sweet award to give to other blogs. I have seen these out there and think it is so sweet to honor someone. I will have to check each one out. You are so sweet.
I don't know if this makes any difference for you at all-on the rent vs buying a home factor-but I thought I would share a few points of interest and you can ask any questions at all and I will try to answer to the best of my knowledge. (My husband used to work for Lehman Bros as an account executive=as a rep to banks etc that did home loans for people= plus he got his real estate license but has never used it-because the market was crashing just after he got it-but he has great knowlege.)
I have a friend who is a real estate agent, back home and she was telling me ,she was selling a lot of homes in a couple of areas because they were zoned (sorry I can't remember the exact term and hubby is asleep but I can ask in the morning if this is of interest to you) as an area that is out in the country. Now I am not talking about being way out-the areas she was talking about were about 10-15 minutes from our home and a very nice area with lots of subdivisions. In that particular zoned area people can buy houses with nothing down-yes a 100% loan, and another benefit is the $8,000 tax credit and I believe the tax credit is for this year alone. Just my thoughts on ways to save money and build equity in a home. I hope, if you are hopeful to buy a home, that this info helped another Christian to reach her dreams.
