Morning Prayer

Give me strength O Lord this day
To do Thy Will and walk Thy way.
Help me to be wise and kind.
Give me Lord that peace of mind
That comes to those who are content
To live each day as it is sent.
Give me Grace to understand
The frailties of my fellow man
And give me patience for each task,
All this in Jesus' sake I ask.
Marion Kistler

This is on a tile and I have it in my bathroom next to the mirror so no matter what I say this prayer each and every morning. This is truly a treasure from a Great grand mother I remember but was truly too young to know.
Love you Great Mother!

  7. I have a little framed picture with a bible verse on it that was given to me from my grandmother, long ago, when I was about 10-12 years old. I still have it and the verse has really helped to get me through some difficult times. "Let not your heart be troubled" John 14:1
Like your tile, I'm comforted by the words and also am reminded of my grandmother, who unknowingly at the time, gave me something that I will treasure forever.
