Leap Year

I rented Leap Year with Amy Adams and Matthew Goode last weekend.

What a great treat.

As I searched I found it was rated worst film of the year, ladies I have seen MUCH MUCH worse!!!

I have to admit I love Amy Adams and she is so perfect for a romantic lead♥

She, Anna,  is on her way to Dublin to meet her boyfriend to Propose on Feb. 29th and  Declan, Matthew Goode, is trying to get her  there. The usual fighting, and mishaps ensue

With a few sweet bits where they relate

And well they both get their lives in order. It works nicely with some really fun Irish characters to help them along.

I thought it was very cute and enjoyed watching it. I am considering buying a copy♥

I hope if you get tired of reruns and need some girl time you will consider this one.

It is a thumbs up in my book☻

You have to meet my new friend

Last Saturday after work I stopped by my favorite place in the world, Barnes and Nobles, hey they have Starbucks there!!

I had seen the table stating that they were having a reading/signing by the author

Sarah Addison Allen.

They had these books

and

Now as I was buying my New Moon DVD and I am not made of money I bought the paper back and the bargain versions of these.

I went back at 4pm to hear her talk and read from her latest book

The Girl Who Chased the Moon.

Well ladies she is a sweetie and from right here in NC! I really enjoyed hearing her read and talk about writing. I was so inspired.

Sunday I started reading Garden Spells. Her books are not sequels but I wanted to read them in order! I have never read an author with a voice like hers! She has multiple characters and develops and tells a story for them all. She has hints of Fairy Tales and magic that are just fantastic. She also like to add food, lots of food to her books!

I have finished Garden Spells and cannot wait to start The Sugar Queen and on payday I will back at B&N to get The Girl Who Chased the Moon!

I don’t think I can say enough. I cannot tell you when I have been so excited to read an author!

I hope you will look for her books!

I am grateful...

Ok I am grateful for God, family and the free country I live in. I am not all that shallow, but right now I will be.

My new camera! and it's PINK!!!

It is used from a place on ebay. I paid $45 and no shipping!

I got it out of the packaging, put in batteries, a memory card and turned it on.

This is a real Point and shoot! I am so thankful I broke down and got this. 97%  of owner reviews were great, the price was unbeatable and it got here in 4 days!

I was so hoping I wouldn't regret buying it because it was pink!

It did not have any of the extras no instructions or software or computer cords. But I can get the instructions and software from Kodak's web site and then I know I won't loose it. But I have yet to go and read it as it is so easy to use I don't need to! I take the pictures from the memory card to my computer so it is super easy as it is!

If you are considering a new cheep camera I do suggest this one. It is also made in silver if you are opposed to pink. Search Kodak Easyshare C813 on ebay and you can find it in several different forms and prices if you want the "extras" included.

Right now I'm going to have fun with my camera! I carry it everywhere cause I can!
