Today we are sharing Hope
We are raising money for a very sweet lady and trying to share as much Hope as we can find in Blogland♥
Colette♥
Kelee has a link for all to view the video of Colette’s room make over and she will receive $1 for all comments left on this link. Please stop by Guideposts and thank them for sponsoring this event! We hope they will do it for more people if we do.
My story is of my sweet little cousin Chase. At nine months old he was diagnosed with Stage 4 Neuroblastoma.
(The bruise on his head is from playing like a boy not his cancer ;)
How can you say to a baby’s family your child has the worst form of cancer in 7 different parts of his body? I know why I am not a doctor.
My cousin Christine has the best spirit and the whole family dug in and 11 months after diagnosis Chase was treatment free, he has stayed that way for 4 months now. Chase has continued to fight and is a happy child that climbs and runs and swims and enjoys all that life has to offer.
(Chase on his 2nd birthday with sister Olivia)
It is great to see God work so fast and how even those who should be too little to understand can know to live life to the fullest.
I have always had Hope even if all the loved ones didn’t make it all the way through the journey. They lived and had good lives and that is the Hope we are given daily.
I thank God every day for the day I had they are really all good no matter how I handled them, simply because I had the day.
Beverly and Sherrie are also hosting this party please stop by and support Colette!
So I hope you all have a Pretty Pink day and enjoy your day, it was given to you as a present♥
Hugs, Lisa

Hi Lisa!
ReplyDeleteWhat a heart warming post! And thank the Lord or dear sweet Chase! What a wonderful reminder of what an amazing healer our Lord is!
I am off to read all about Colette and her new room makeover. God bless little Chase...what a story ...what a darling boy!
ReplyDeleteHi Lisa, thank you for your kind comment on my post about our daughter Andrea. I have missed visiting you and will try to keep up with my blogging friends better. This summer has been full of everything except blogging. Life is calmer now so am trying to get back on track.
ReplyDeleteYour sweet Chase is so small to go through so much. It is a wonder his mom is able to stay positive with such a serious cancer. I pray his treatments are finished forever. He and his sister are so darling.
I red your previous post and that Molly just makes me smile. Our pets give us so much joy. The chenille bedspread is beautiful. Are you talking about Suzanna's Antiques in Raleigh, NC? I have been there if this is the same one.
Blessing to you for participating in Collette's Makeover Party.
Hugs, Jeanne
