Happy Birthday!!!

Oh I'm so excited to see everyone in their finest!! I love dress up! I knew the minute I read about the party I had to go straight to find a Jane Austen Dress! Not as easy as I originally thought it would be and I didn't find my favorite dress BUT I think for a Birthday Party this one is PERFECT!!! I love the BBC version of Pride and Prejudice and the gowns are on of my favorite parts (besides Mr. Darcy of course!) SO when I come across pics of this one I knew it had to be it!

I really could live in these type dresses! Maybe it was my past life!! I could deal with it now. The cottage and all!!

Artist of the Week!

I am starting a new Blog post of artist of the week. I will start with artists i actually have their work then I will send you on to artists I wish I had their work!
I'm beginning my series with Barbara Jean of Treasures from the Heart!
Not only is she a SUPER sweet person she is extremely talented. You should follow her blog for just a week to see how her treasure hunts turn into items you cannot live without!!! I followed her for awhile and then she came up with these:


Well I had to have them and I commented I wanted them and a short week later I got a box of the greatest treasures!! She has things all teh time and even has a selling blog now Treasures from the Heart Gift Shop That has the BEST treasures!!! Visit daily she adds stuff all the time.
She also has lots of giveaways I won this one!

She also sent a sweet handmade card! I think she's giving one of those away now so go visit her!

WOW!!!

I had a great day Sunday! First it was my little sister's birthday, Flag Day, and I won a give away and got an award!!
MJ @ yellowbeachdog offered this great book! Her sweet ginger kitty Fletcher picked my name!! I'm having great luck when animals pick the names!!

Than Roeshel @ Evangeline's Vine was given the Lovely Blog award and she passed it on to me!! I've had 3 really great blog gals think my blog is Lovely!

I feel so lucky just to have all of you visit me and let me visit you that giveaways and awards are just icing on the cake!

Happy Birthday Dear Little Sister!!

My Little Sister is 25 today!!!! I remember her being born very well as I'm 15 years older than her!!! EEEKKKS!!

My sweet little Cupcake (Serenity Grace) is her youngest!

Memphis is her youngest boy!

Nate is her middle boy!

Christopher is her oldest!

She started very young!!!!!

So Happy 25 little sis!!

Look what I found! part 2

I forgot this little sweetie when I found my lovely Royal Dalton figurines!! My mom stuck her on a shelf and I didn't see her when I was taking pictures!

Isn't she lovely?

She belonged to my paternal Great Grand Mother. I actually have a few of her items, my mom was smart and took the little stuff no one wanted so I have some real treasures! (Oh idea for another post hehehe)
