Catching Up!

I need to start this post today with a request for prayers for Amy, you can get updates at her aunt Sherri's blog Country Wings in Phoenix. She really needs extra prayers right now. Thanks.

Thanks to every one for your sweet comments over the past week. My dear friend Judy's funeral was just the best way to say goodbye. Her very strong daughter gave a wonder tribute to her. We were all amazed sheh could do it. But her DH said he just couldn't so sweet Heidi stepped in and it couldn't have been better. It was nice to get with all our friends and remember Judy even though it is still hard. And I'm a crier so the box of kleenx was a must. All your kind wishes ment so much to us all.

I did send home all my sweet little puppy friends to their homes last week and though I love them wow was it nice to sit in my quite home (hehe as quite as 3 dogs can be)! I also had to work this past weekend so I was glad to have Sunday. Well until Mom needed my every attention and if she could learn to use a computer it would be just great!!
Thanks for hainging in while I was on Blogging break. I got a really cool magazine and we have started and finished a few projects. I will be back with posts soon!
Hugs, Lisa

  1. Sweetie! I truly believe that everyone is keeping Amy in their prayers. Every day is a day closer to that so needed surgery ... may Amy be able to endure each day. Blessings of love to all of you during this time. Hugs, TTFN ~Marydon

  3. Hi Lisa! My gosh, I am behind myself, trying to keep up with life in general. Lately, some days, I just don't know WHAT to expect! My day might be crazy and bursting at the seams with things to do and take care of... and then there are days where I feel like "WHAT?.. NOTHING to DO today?!!.. How can THAT be?!!"
    Now that's a day when I can get bigger projects done, or catch up on a book, or do some baking!! I LOVE when I can catch a day like that!

    It FEELS like I've had this the whole summer, but I'm trying very hard to get over a cold/allergy/bug-of-some-kind-or-other!!! I just can't shake it! Nyquil is my best friend right for the past few nights! (0;

    I am so sorry to hear about Judy... I am praying for Amy, and now another blogging friend is very worried for her own husband. Cancer is such a cruel and horrible monster, isn't it? It is so important that we are all here for each other, as much and as best we can be. ((Hugs)) ~tina

  9. You've had a lot on your plate for sure! Well, as my late friend used to say to me: Tie another knot in your rope and hang on. We're here for you.

  12. Hi Lisa, ladybug!!!
    You and your family and friends are definitely in our prayers... many blessings to you.
    I know what you mean about the whole fall, cool, apples, etc. thing. Going to pick pumpkins in 90 degree weather just isn't the same, huh? I am ready to cool off, but not lose the summertime. crazy, huh?
    Welcome back! I missed you and our visits!
    Hugs! Christina
