I am not decorating for Christmas until Thanksgiving weekend.
But for some reason Christmas is sneaking in my home!
Really great find at Homes goods! $3.99!!
Large snowman birthday gift from Mom it was at World Market.
She also got me the little snowman he lights up!
The bell is a Wal Mart find, $1!!!
The sweet little man was a last year find that never got packed away, and I got the two matching buckets this year.
The candle will probably stay out after Christmas and the Merry Christmas sign is another
Wal Mart bargin $1!! They have really great things and they are all $1 Go quick!
Hope you enjoyed my not decorating for Christmas.
Hugs, Lisa

oh, i think christmas definitly snuck into your house, thanksgiving is only a week away, go for start decorating...you know this is coming from someone who usually doesnt decorate until two weeks before christmas, it just seems like Dec. flies by. glad you liked your candles.
ReplyDeleteI'd like to wait until after Thanksgiving too, but I have to get my wee shop ready for the holidays now! I'll wait until after turkey day to work on the house. : )

ps I really like the rope tag with the Bible verse on it! Very cool!
But did you see that there was no sparkly green $1.00 items at Walmart. Red, blue, pink, silver, purple and gold, but no green!! weird!!
ReplyDeleteSome cute Christmas is sneaking in.....I have a mixed bag of emotions...getting excited to put them up but dread the job and the taking down. I want to enjoy thanksgiving, too, first!

Love your tag!!
Oh, Lisa I know, it is sneaking in and I keep debating about starting to put out decorations too soon. I just love your pink candle.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed seeing how you are not decorating for Christmas. Can't wait to see when you really do! :0)
ReplyDeleteYou have some wonderful Christmas goodies!!! I can't wait to decorate, I am so busy sewing and making things, I need to have it all in the mail by the end of the month!!! I do hope you are doing well, probably busy as me, right? I love the little buckets!!!
ReplyDeleteHugs,

It's impossible for Christmas to NOT sneak in! It's in all the stores, it's above our heads on the streetlamps in town, it's in the commercials on tv! Walking in Kohl's the other day, they were even playing Christmas music as I was buying Christmas card with my 30% off coupon! :)

I think this is happening to a lot of people this year, it seems to be contagious, bigger than the swine flu epidemic! Cute stuff and so much fun!
ReplyDeleteThey are lovely and I know what you mean. It is taking all I can to not decorate right now.
ReplyDeleteWillow
Oh my gosh, I feel the same way! I keep telling myself, no decorating until after Thanksgiving!!! Your Christmas goodies are just darling!!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Amy
I'm so ready! Keep it coming, Lisa! ♥
ReplyDeleteHi Lisa!
ReplyDeleteDon't ya just love Home Goods Stores! It has been so hard for me to keep Christmas from invading my home! LOL But come Thanksgiving weekend...LOOK OUT! LOL
Have a wonderful day Lisa!
Christmas has a way of doing just that... sneaking in on you. It's my favorite holiday, so sometimes I leave my decorations up into January (and maybe beyond... if it's a garland... I hate a naked mantle!) ;-)
ReplyDeleteXO,
Sheila :-)
Can't talk right now, gotta run to WalMart and get one of those silvery MC signs! Love it, love it all! It's beginning to look alot like Christmas...
ReplyDeleteHi Lisa,
ReplyDeleteI like the way that Christmas is quietly sneaking into your home.
Your decorations are lovely.
Hugs
Carolyn
I'm with you about not decorating until after turkey day, but there seems to be sights and sounds throughout the house anyway. I'm listening to Alan Jackson see Santa Claus is coming to town right now:)
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the visit!

Hi Lisa,
ReplyDeleteSince I had to get my space ready for the monthly sale...Christmas is hanging around my house, in boxes :)
I saw those gilttery decorations at WM and bought a few. Fun to see your little "peaks"!
Deb :)
