SHOPAHOLIC!!
I have come to this conclusion. I have decided I will give up shopping for Lent. I really think it is a bad time of year for me too much holiday and sales but if it isn’t hard it isn’t worth doing.
I think I cheated!!!
I went to World Market, to see my Mom and take her to lunch, and the Easter is out and I had to have a lot of stuff.
SOOOOO
I gathered it up and told my mom the Easter Bunny could bring it to me!!! If you have a World Market/Cost Plus close to you GO!!
I don’t have it and I didn’t pay for it…
I think I cheated!!!
Had to confess cannot take the guilt! Hope you are doing better than I am!
Hugs, Lisa
Oh, how funny! My daughter and you should get together. She loves to shop and finds the best bargains but Momma don't pay!!!

Guilt is such a miserable thing isn't it? I feel exactly the same way when I eat a chocolate bar or dessert! I must look for a World Market - hadn't heard of it.

ReplyDeleteLisa.....shame on you.
ReplyDeleteBut what ever makes you happy... and makes you smile..enjoy...
Although if I were you maybe give something else us next time. I play safe.....I never promise to stick to something in the first place. x x x take care under the weight of all that shopping :-)
LOL! You're so funny! But, I totally understand!
ReplyDeleteHi Lisa,
ReplyDeleteI think we all are!
Glad that you and your Mum were able to have lunch and a day out shopping.
Have a happy week

Hi Lisa,
ReplyDeleteYour new Pinkie puppy is sweet! The World Market closed by me...and I'm waiting for Easter things at the thrift store..that's my budget right now.
Warmly,
Deb :)
Well, you can see what I can spend...those coffee filters were purchased at Christmas to package cookies. I need to do something with them! It's fun, you will love it.
ReplyDeleteShopping is out for me...I won't even go to the grocery store with my husband. I am so afraid I'll spend money.
Lisa: I just love you. In case, I have not said that before. This post was wonderful. To give up shopping for Lent! As I was reading I could just relate in so many ways, including the Mom part. I will pray, you can do it! Love the new look. Blessings, Martha
