How cool to have an idea for the cups and cozies! I have loads of coffee cups to use when I go buy cups of coffee, and they are 60% of the time at home when I do! I am trying to keep one in my car but they have to be washed so it isn’t as easy as running out and putting bags back in my car. I am trying!!! But I will keep the cups I do get from now on! I love this idea!
I finished my tiny dollar store bulletin board.
It’s pink, of course!
I use it for all my business cards from the sweet and lovely online ladies that sell me wonderful things that make me smile!

It will go in my room!
My mother and stepfather are looking for a place of their own. We are hoping the spot next door will be ready in the next few months and they will be right there. It would nice to be close but not as close as we are now. hehe
I am excited about using my bedroom suite and spreading out my other treasures into the whole extra bedroom. I am making lists!!
My room will be more country and the the new room will be pink shabby chic/retro! It will look like a junked up mess just like the rest of my house but I will try to have only two styles in one room!
I also got stir crazy while flipping channels I came across a laptop on QVC and had a semi-impulse buy. I have been looking and researching laptops, netbooks, etc, for at least 8 months and this one had all the features I wanted at a price I could afford so I did it!
Then after I did thinking maybe I could have done better and have searched but really cannot find one better in my price range! It is sadly not pink. But the pink ones cost too much or were too small. As it is my only computer I want to do everything on it and not just the internet.
So what has everybody else been up to?

While I am STILL patiently waiting to see what "the company" will do to help me with the NEW one I HAVE, I am seriously considering just buying a new, and BETTER camera instead! If you've seen my pictures you KNOW what I've been dealing with... a LEMON! Bottom line, who CARES what color it is, ya just want one that WORKS!!!.. As for what else I'm doing?.. I just bought a new set of dishes yesterday, and today I'm baking banana bread today! ~tina

I love my laptop - it has changed my life. You will love yours. I love your board! You did such a great job with it and it looks so cute hanging on the doorknob. What a great way to display everyone's cards.

Just remember...you can paint the top of your laptop...I did. mask off the bottom. Roll on some primer...then pink paint then varnish!!

Looks like you've been having some COZY fun!! I have a desktop and my back kills me after I sit here too long. My husband always lets me use his work laptop when he's home but he won't leave it here for me when he goes to work - bad man! Once I figured out how to maneuver around it without a mouse, I really want one!! It's hard to have a good argument for one when my desktop still works fine, darn it. Stay warm ~ ♥

ReplyDeleteRE having a pink one - as long as you mask everything (especially computer ports) I don't see any reason why you couldn't use car spray paint - or even glitter. Or go the other way and embellish it: stick-on diamante stones, perhaps. Or just keep it old school, white, and put an amazing screen saver on there.

I had a laptop, but my step-daughter needed one while in graduate school, so I let her have it. I've been piddling in my garden. Then listening to the rain. Eating some barbecue from my favorite spot. Now I'm going to enjoy my evening. Hope you enjoy yours, sweet friend!
