I must confess

You know these cuties

peeps

and these lovelies

jelly-beans

I buy them this time of year because they are soooo pretty and cute and colorful….

I DO NOT EAT THEM.

Either one of them.

I am a candy freak, and I do like a majority of Jelly-Belly jelly beans.

But the classic kind, and Peeps.

I can not even think about putting them in my mouth.

I know I am a freak!

  1. Oh I'm the opposite Lisa. I don't like the jelly belly kind but the regular ones I do. Especially the black ones. As for the Peeps...don't think I have ever had one. Looks like too much sugar for me!

  5. I'm with CC on this one, Lisa! If peeps, jellybeans, or ANY candies are in the house, they probably won't be for long!.. Bad Beansie!.. All self control and self discipline take a back seat when it comes to sweets! ~tina

  6. How fantastic! I am also partial to jelly belly's or any jelly sweets for that matter though I do have to limit the amount I have as not good for the kids to see me doing it!! x

  7. I'll eat a peep just for fun but not a jelly bean! To me, candy is chocolate- not sugar!

  8. I don't like Peeps - but I could plow through Jelly Beans! So I don't buy them...otherwise there would be trouble.

  9. We don't eat them much either, but you'll never guess what my (dear, dear) hubby and 3 yr old son do with peeps:

Stick 2 peeps in the microwave with toothpicks in their beaks. Turn on the microwave and see the duel as they melt.

    Yeah. I'm serious.

    LOL!

  10. Peeps are my favorite! I buy them at every holiday they make them for. The way I like to eat them though, is to make a slit in the package and let them sit for a week. Then I eat them when they're chewy!

Maybe we're all freaks and just don't know it! LOL

  11. No Peeps for me either. Gross! But I looooove spiced jelly beans. I usually buy enough to last me for months!

  12. Those are so cute, but I'm with you, they would be safe in my house too, that is as long as they're not made of chocolate.

  13. Give me a call when you're done decorating and I'll come over and dispose of the peeps for you. The jelly beans are a pass for me, too!

    Happy Easter!

  14. You're not a freak! I think they are cute too but have lost interest in such sugary sweets as well. Now chocolate on the other hand. . . hey, do they make CHOCOLATE PEEPS? Hmmm.....
