I love the Little Golden Books that were illustrated by Eloise Wilkin. I think my mom did and that is why I have so many!! I have this big one that is just so pretty!
I guess she can be my artist of the week. I hope you enjoy the peek into this lovely version of a classic.

Oh Lisa! This post brought tears to my eyes. I had all these and remember the pictures so well. My mom read these to my sister and I . Eloise Wilkin has such a sweet style.

ReplyDeleteOh, these books are so sweet! I've been buying the Golden Books that I remember from my childhood lately. I don't know what it is, but I've been very sentimental recently. Or just mental, as my daughter would say!

Oh.My.Gosh. Was this ever a "blast from the past!" Believe it or not, Golden Books with illustrations by Eloise Wilkin were around when I was a little girl. Her artwork has so much charm.

Books are adorable! Glad you are a organizer too. Sometimes I get so taken over in the organize I don't do anything else! That doesn't make me happy but, neither does a disaster area. Oh well. Glad to know we aren't perfect right?
