Just a quick post of my Christmas goodies and a big thank you to the ladies who had great giveaways that I won!
They were little buds and opened up every day. This is only about half way open and I still have them after 3 weeks and they were all of $3.99!!
This is my teddy bear brush and comb set. Santa brought these to me from Suzanna’s Antiques!
This pink pearl set is from my mom! She said it was the year of Pink!
She also gave me these great repro beads!
I was lucky enough to get the exact calendar I wanted. I usually wait for them to go on sale and then I have to pick from what is left I lucked out this year!
I “have” to get a Lang calendar because I have this frame for them and they are the only ones big enough to fit.
It hangs in my kitchen and they are so inspirational. Mine for last year was the Breast Cancer Awareness one and it featured the 23rd Psalm. Which is my very favorite and I just loved walking by it everyday! This one says “In everything give thanks” I just have to smile!
The Christmas is put away and all of the celebrating is over. And I am ready for 2010!
I am looking forward to spending another great year here with you my friends in blogland!
This sweet pack of goodies is from Jonnie @ Jonnie’s Shabby Cottage Creations and More I won in July. I was the second one picked as the first winner didn’t respond. Then I didn’t answer for about a month. And then she mailed it and after a month I let her know it had not arrived. She tried to find it and was set to make me another one when the first of December it arrives back from the post office! I got it in a few days after the second sending but my goodies are well traveled. What stories they can tell. It is pink and very Valentine so I think it arrived right on time!
Monica @ Happy Nester gave away this great card holder. I was so excited. I almost ran over to Pier One and bought one when I saw her give away, I was so glad I won!!
She added this sweet little book to it. Got to love Gooseberry Patch!
Laurie Star was sweet enough to offer this great set of goodies at Christmas! I received the package Christmas Eve. You know I didn’t wait a day to open so I had it under the tree too!
I will be crafting up a storm. It is great to have goodies all ready when you go to craft!
Thanks Ladies!! I had the best month in Blogland! And thanks to everyone for sharing your great holiday goodies and traditions. My first Christmas in Blogland was very lovely!
Hugs, Lisa
Hi ladies!! I had a bad mishap with my comment moderation and was trying to reject one and it rejected HALF!!!! To Laurie, Claudia, Deb, Beansie and more I would NEVER reject your comments on purpose! You may never stop back to this post but if you do PLEASE forgive me! I got a really bad one that had only a few words in English and they were not nice. NO idea who or what it was about!
Hugs, Lisa
Loved seeing your goodies, Lisa! I haven't posted mine yet, but I have to clean my house so I can even see daylight. LOL!
ReplyDeleteXO,
Sheila :-)

ReplyDeleteWell, congrats on the give away wins! Those make the holidays extra fun don't they?
Your calender is cute. I always "have" to have a mountain one!
I love that garland your mom gave you! ♥
Lisa, I am so glad the card tree arrived to your door in one piece. It looks like you had a wonderful Christmas. I can't wait to see what you make with your new craft supplies. Happy New Year Monica

Sweet Lisa thank you for remembering me & Reba! She has her good days & not so good days. It is take it one day at a time!
ReplyDeleteLove all your Christmas goodies. I too just got all the Christmas put away. It is a good feeling isn't it? I didn't bring one bit of Valentines home from the storage building. I still have a few winter themed vingettes & I may just leave those up until I'm ready for Easter. Who knows. I would love it if you came out for Petticoats & Parasols. It does sound like a great event doesn't it? Have a great week. Charlene
What wonderful treasures you have! That's just too odd about the lost and then found package. And Trader Joe flowers that have lasted 3 weeks and still going? That's amazing and they're beautiful! I might just buy some next time I'm at our Trader Joes. (I love that store)

Hi Lisa,
ReplyDeleteWhat a lot of wonderful gifts you received and so much pretty pink. I loved seeing everything.
I love the pink roses and the pearls.
Happy week to you
Hugs

I just love getting goodies for crafting and just enjoying them all at once! So many great ideas come to me when I have all the right "stuff" in front of me. You are going to have FUN! Enjoy!!!
ReplyDeleteLisa! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for letting me know my page won't load. I am working on a new format so all that info is priceless.
ReplyDeleteI have the same problem with "snow" effect. I do visit everyone, but my browser crashes when there is snow. And, I have a new and powerful computer so I don't know what is going on!
Anyway, I'm going to try to get it fixed.
You have such pretty things. Enjoyed each and everyone today.
Good for you on winning! I never win anything. I'm thinking it's a good time for you to go buy a lottery ticket! :>
ReplyDeleteI always buy those Lang calendars, too. I never graduated from Big Chief writing paper and so I need something large enough to fit my handwriting.

ReplyDeleteHi Lisa.....
ReplyDeleteWonderful wins and Christmas gifts.....I'm so happy for you that you got the calendar that you wanted. I don't have room on my wall for one so I've resorted to a little fold-up number.....at least I occasionally know the date. :-)
I got one of those horrible messages once too.....It was in a foreign language and I nearly posted but did the google translator first......whew.........am I ever glad I did! YIKES!
Have a wonderful week....
Hugs,
Spencer
