Opinions please and some help!

I want to make a button for my blog. I have an idea for my picture and need help making it with a code so I can let others take it if they want. If you know how or can point me to someone who does I'd be so greatful! You guys have such fun buttons and love the way they make my blog look!!

Next I changed the font colors on my blog. I like the look but if it is too hard to read PLEASE let me know. I really don't like having to try to read something that is too dark or too light or clashes with the background color. I went light but can pick darker. I am using a white background now so I have a lot of choice.

Thanks for being such great blog friends!

I don't like to make excuses for not visiting. I have been very busy at work and it is for a sad reason. My co-workers Grandparents were struck by a car in the cross walk on the way to church last week. Her grandfather is doing ok, but was not in good shape to begin with. Her Grandmother, his caregiver, however is not. She is in a level 1 trauma unit and the doctors have told the family they need to make decisions. As this is going on the grandmothers brother, not involved in the accident, has died.  My co-worker has been out for a week and her husband has been layed off since last summer. As you can see she and her family need all the prayers they can get.

Thank you!
Hugs, Lisa

  3. Here is one place I googled and found. I've seen these sites that explain how to do this before. If this one doesn't help, just google how to make blog buttons. and yes, the font color is too light for my eyes! You asked!

  5. Hi Lisa,

I can read your font just fine - I like the color very much. I have a blog button but no code. I know when I googled 'How to make a blog button' there was all sorts of advice out there. And Connie from Living Beautifully knows all sort of information about that kind of thing.

Hope that helps. I'm so sorry about your co-worker and her grandparents. That is an awful lot to deal with. It is just wonderful that you are there to take up the slack at work.

Sorry, I don't know how to make a button and the font color was a teensy bit hard for me to read but eyes are pretty finicky.

  10. I can read your text clearly. And you're right, sometimes text have almost the same color as the background can really be hard.

I don't know what to say about what has happened to your coworker/friend's family. One could not imagine what she is going through. It feels so hard and my heart really goes to her. Having you as her friend who thought of her and cares will surely help her in times like this. May God comfort her and her family in this time of need.

  12. Your poor co-worker, it sounds like she is definitely needing a lot of prayers for her family right now.

I can't help you with the button, but there are lots of tutorial sites out there that tell you how to do it. It looks like a couple of ladies gave you some places to look. The font color is super easy to read, no problems. Have a terrific week and hopefully soon you get a day off!
